**Strategic Planning and Reporting Opportunity**
The Georges River Council seeks an exceptional Strategic Planning and Reporting Officer to join its team. This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive strategic planning and performance reporting that aligns with the council's vision and community strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain corporate performance frameworks and monitoring systems.
- Facilitate effective communication and negotiation with various stakeholders.
- Provide high-quality written materials with minimal supervision.
- Conduct investigative research and analyze data to inform strategic decisions.
- Utilize strong organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment and establish positive relationships with colleagues.
**Requirements:**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing corporate performance frameworks, monitoring and reporting systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Investigative and research skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
**Desirable Qualifications:**
- Knowledge of NSW Local Government Act (1993) and relevant legislation.
- Familiarity with business excellence frameworks, such as EFQM or Australian Business Excellence Framework.
