**Lifeguards**
**$27.23 per hour Part-time - Fixed term to February 2026**

**Wet 'n' Wild, Gold Coast**
**The opportunity**:
Wet 'n' Wild are recruiting Lifeguards and will provide full training to successful applicants through an International Lifeguard Training Program. You will need to successfully complete the 2-day training program in your own time to be eligible. As a Lifeguard you will supervise the safe operation of all attractions at Wet 'n' Wild Gold Coast & Sea World Resort.
**Your day to day**:
- Ensure all guests are familiar with and comply with all safety rules
- Ensure swimmer safety and rescue/recover guests who require assistance
- Administer CPR or other emergency care as required
- Provide a friendly and professional environment for all guests
- Attend fortnightly In-Service Training and any other training requirements to maintain knowledge and skills related to industry standards and guidelines
- Report any faults, machinery failure and maintenance requirements
- Work in all weather conditions, including, sun, rain, hot and cold climates
**What you'll bring**:
- **Must be 18 years of age or over (due to manufacturer requirements)**:
- **Must be available to start training from 24th June 2025(full schedule available at Interview)**:
- Able to swim 200m freestyle/breaststroke within 6 minutes
- Able to perform a feet first surface dive to 1.8m to retrieve a 5kg brick
- Able to tread water without using your arms for two minutes
- Safety conscious with a strong guest service focus
- Previous Lifeguard experience highly regarded
- First Aid and performing CPR experience highly regarded
- Immunisation for Hepatitis B is recommended
- Physically fit with an enthusiastic and positive attitude and appearance
- Must be able to work on any day, including weekends, school holidays and evenings
