Job Title: Senior Technical Officer
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced technical officer to join our team as a senior technical officer. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in preparing biological specimens for the teaching of undergraduate veterinary anatomy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare biological specimens and anatomical teaching models for the teaching of undergraduate veterinary anatomy.
* Maintain a catalogue of teaching/anatomy specimens and provide access to these collections through an ordering system.
Requirements:
1. Demonstrated experience in embalming, dissection, prosection and use of cadaveric material in an anatomy teaching environment or equivalent.
2. Demonstrated experience in managing the provision of laboratory services.
3. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with limited supervision.
4. Demonstrated experience communicating in a succinct, professional and responsive manner.
5. The desire to develop skills and experience.
