About the role
Join the vibrant team at Southern Plants in Dromana as a Picker Packer & Dispatch Assistant, where you'll play a key role in preparing and dispatching high-quality plants across Australia. This casual position offers full-time hours and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You'll be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and labelling plant orders, using digital tools to track inventory, and maintaining a clean and efficient dispatch area. What you'll be doing
* Picking and packing plant orders for delivery
* Preparing and labelling stock for dispatch
* Ensuring accuracy and quality of packed orders
* Stacking and organising trolleys and pallets
* Using digital tools (scanners, iPads, computers) to track orders
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient dispatch area
* Assisting with general nursery duties as needed
What we're looking for
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling
* Strong attention to detail and time management
* Comfortable working in a team and independently
* Basic tech skills for using digital tracking tools
* Previous experience in dispatch, warehousing, or nursery work is a bonus (but not essential – training provided)
* Forklift licence is highly desirable but not essential
