Makin Mattresses' is seeking an experienced and passionate Retail Store Manager to lead our flagship store in Nundah, QLD. As Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience in our vibrant retail environment.
Key responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and budgeting
* Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive in-store growth
* Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a welcoming, engaging shopping experience
* Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of retail sales associates
* Ensure the store maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and visual merchandising
* Collaborate closely with the head office team to align on business goals and implement strategic initiatives
* Monitor and analyse store performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar leadership role within the retail industry
* Proven track record of driving sales, improving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service
* Strong people management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and stakeholders
* Proficiency in data analysis and using key performance indicators to inform business decisions
