Community Radio Program Preparation Assistant
Ever dreamed of being involved with radio? ***** HopeFM is looking to expand its program preparation team. Hours are flexible, and we welcome people who want to help prepare and schedule family-friendly content that aligns with the station's mission and values: Bringing Hope, Sharing Joy & Building Community.
The station uses the radio broadcasting program Jazler and is open from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday. The team is staffed entirely by volunteers who work on Christian principles.
Overview
Preparation for programs involves a variety of tasks: scheduling and pre-recording content, editing audio files, downloading content from the web, ripping content from CDs, and maintaining the music library.
Responsibilities
Schedule and pre-record family-friendly content.
Edit audio files.
Download content from the web.
Rip content from CDs.
Maintain the music library.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Visa sponsorship is not available; you must hold a valid visa or residency that permits volunteering in Australia.
• Volunteer experience or interest in radio production is preferred but not required.
Commitment
Regular – more than 6 months. Hours are flexible; tasks can be undertaken at times that suit your availability.

Some training and support is available for this position.
