We are looking for a Bid Specialist who will evaluate Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quote (RFQ), and Requests for Information (RFI) for strategic fit and participate in sales strategy decisions. You will coordinate the development and production of bid responses in RFPs/RFIs/RFTs ( RFx)
**High Level Accountabilities**
- The Bid Specialist is an integral role within the bid function at Sekuro. As a Bid Specialist you will support the development of winning responses to RfXs
- You will act as the central project manager for all aspects of the bid, writing/responding to general bid questions, and coordinating the inputs of key stakeholders for solution, pricing and contractual requirements
- Under the guidance of our Head of Strategic Bids, the Bid Specialist from time to time may be required to prepare responses to Rfxs that have a contract value of more than $ 450k value but less than $3 Million
**Responsibilities**
- Assist the sales team in identifying appropriate members for proposal response teams
- Manage the RFx response effort including all meetings necessary during RFx response process
- Develop the proposal response project schedule
- Serve as a liaison for internal and external support resources involved in the RfX development effort
- Ensure all deadlines are met both internally and externally during the RFx response process
- Maintain project files for each opportunity
- Work directly with account executives, sales managers, consultants, technical resources, legal, and other internal resources
- Ensure proposals fully comply with customer requests and that the information provided is compelling, thorough and accurate
Conduct post-proposal evaluations to assess customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for improving the proposal process
**What we are looking for..**
- Advanced skills in organising, conducting and facilitating response review meetings
- 3 to 5 years' experience working as a bid writer, coordinator or similar role
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience coordinating bids with technology partners would be favourable
- Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work autonomously and identify when you escalate
