Join Amazon’s growing Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team as a Maintenance Supervisor at our Ravenhall, VIC site. The Maintenance Supervisor is the shift lead for a team of up to 6 Technicians (fitters and electricians). During each shift, you'll lead the team in executing preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime. You'll maintain a strong focus on safety by monitoring processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulations and policies. Learn more about Amazon RME in Australia Key job responsibilities - Lead and Motivate: Supervise daily maintenance operations, coaching technicians and driving team performance - Maximize uptime: Execute preventative maintenance programs that keep our automated equipment moving - Champion safety: Monitor processes and promote safe working across the site - Solve complex problems: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex facility systems and automated equipment - Drive improvement: Identify and implement new technologies and more efficient ways of working - Collaborate across teams: Build relationships and participate in strategic leadership meetings A day in the life Your day will be a dynamic blend of hands-on technical work and strategic leadership. You'll lead a team of technicians (fitters and electricians), troubleshoot complex equipment challenges, and develop proactive maintenance strategies that keep our cutting-edge systems performing at their peak. - Experience in contract management - Experience in team leadership - Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks - Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments - Experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance - A full Engineering Apprenticeship qualified to a minimum of Certificate III or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject formally recognised in Australia including valid licence when required (i.e. unrestricted electrical licence) - Understanding of programmable logic controls (PLC) programming - Experience of multi-contractor management - Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
