Your new role:
* Quality Management: Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to comply with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
* Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance quality.
* Training: Provide quality training to staff and offer QA advice.
* Production Quality: Oversee quality assurance for production, ensuring all activities meet project requirements.
* Subcontractor Management: Manage vendor and supplier quality assurance processes.
* Audits: Conduct internal, supplier, and third-party audits.
* Reporting: Implement and analyse metrics to continuously improve performance.
What You Need to Succeed:
* Experience working in Quality Assurance roles for defence industry projects and/or products - ideally complex programs.
* Quality Lead Auditor Qualified with Tertiary Qualifications in areas such as Engineering or relevant disciplines.
* Quality Management Qualifications are highly regarded.
* Solid expertise in ISO 9001 and experience in auditing quality systems.
* Experience in a military environment, knowledge of ITAR regulations, and experience with improvement programs (Lean, 6S, Kaizen).
* Australian Citizenship and NV1 or Baseline Clearance
* Skills:
o Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
o Ability to identify and implement improvements.
o Capable of working within tight deadlines.
