Our client is locally based in Paget. They specialise in providing solutions for mining, industrial, and civil engineering companies, with a focus on fluid handling and distribution. Their reputation for quality has allowed them to offer a full range of products in areas such as motor vehicle body and trailer manufacturing, architectural and structural metals manufacturing, and more. They are currently looking for a Boilermaker to join their Mackay Team.
Your new role
* Welding and fabrication work on various equipment
* Using grinders, cutters, and other hand tools
* Operating and maintaining fabrication equipment
* Reading and interpreting drawings to determine the requirements for fabrication
* Working on water truck tank builds in the workshop
What you'll need to succeed
* Boilermaker Trade Qualification
* Reliable transport
* Contactable references
* Ability to complete police check
* Be living locally in the Mackay Region
What you'll get in return
In this position, you will be offered work on a Monday to Friday basis, working approx 40 hours per week in a Paget workshop. You will be paid an attractive hourly rate on a weekly basis with overtime and super. You will be reporting directly to the workshop foreman in a short-term position with the potential to extend.
