Primary Objective
Provide a confidential and professional corporate support service to the Office of the Chief Minister (OCM).
Key Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Corporate Services Manager:
1. Undertake travel bookings as required for OCM and assist with audits of travel reports.
2. Process accounts payable for OCM and maintain the ordering of office supplies.
3. Assist with the delivery of information technology services and equipment to all Ministerial suites and maintain a register of allocated equipment to all staff.
4. Carry out monthly audits of ICT equipment allocated to staff for billing purposes.
5. Assist with the management and booking of pool vehicles, including pick-ups and deliveries.
6. Be available to work after hours as required.
Selection Criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated ability to communicate in a professional manner in writing and verbally to interact effectively with a range of executives and staff at all levels.
2. Demonstrated experience undertaking administrative duties with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to be discrete, maintain confidentiality and discern sensitive issues.
3. Organisational and time management skills with the ability to remain calm and produce quality work in a high-pressure environment.
4. Proven ability to work independently without supervision, to work under pressure and complete tasks within required time frames and with high accuracy.
5. Well-developed knowledge of Microsoft Office software and other NTG systems, including TRIPS, NTGPay and Expense8.
Desirable:
1. Knowledge of the structures of the Ministerial Offices and portfolios, the NT Government agencies and the Electorate Offices.
