The Person:
Our Client Success team is the forefront of Naked Accounting, leading the way in client communication and shaping every step of the client journey. We're looking for someone with solid experience in public practice accounting and a solid grasp of related systems, who can help us deliver a seamless and welcoming client service experience.
The ideal candidate will be confident in client interactions, proactive in problem‑solving, and equipped with top‑notch administrative skills to support our vibrant team of accountants and business advisors. You will demonstrate:
- Experience in a similar role within an accounting practice
- 1‑2 years of experience in an accounting practice is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Xero suite, ASIC, and the ATO Portal
- Familiarity with CAS 360, ATOmate and FYI (ideal but not essential)
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
- A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
- A proactive and positive contribution to the workplace
- Confidence and professionalism in all forms of communication
- Availability to work flexible hours on a fixed day weekly
Key responsibilities:
- Manage Reception area and phones as first point of contact for clients and visitors
- Provide general administrative support and assist with day‑to‑day office operations
- Manage both digital and physical documentation with accuracy and care
- Oversee ASIC secretarial services using CAS 360 software
- Ensure timely and efficient correspondence with the ATO and ASIC
- Maintain and update the client database to ensure accuracy
- Share responsibility for managing incoming client communications, including phone calls and emails
- Maintain the mail register and coordinate mail collection as needed
- Support client onboarding and off‑boarding processes
- Manage the electronic signing process for tax packages and other documentation
- Other administrative duties, as required
