Senior Accountant Job Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with SME clients, offering tailored accounting services
- Oversee end-to-end financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant standards and regulations
- Collaborate in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis
- Reconcile bank accounts and other financial data, resolving discrepancies as needed
- Support internal and external audits, contributing to the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior accountants, promoting their growth and development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Completed or working towards CPA or CA qualifications
- 3-5 years of practical experience in financial accounting, partnering with SME clients across various industry sectors
- Strong understanding of Australian Taxation requirements, including Income Tax, GST, FBT, and Payroll Tax
- Knowledge of Accounting Standards and Principles
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems (Xero, MYOB, or similar)
