About the Role:
Are you a senior dispute resolution lawyer looking to advance your career? We are seeking a senior dispute resolution lawyer to join our Building, Construction and Insolvency team in our Cairns office. The role involves acting for a diverse client base, including those in the construction and insolvency sectors, and advising on procurement and contract negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Acting for principals, builders, contractors, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers with a focus on resolution of disputes;
2. Advising on procurement and contract negotiation;
3. Working closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements:
4. Admitted lawyer with at least 5 years' PAE;
5. Strong experience in building and construction and insolvency;
6. Exceptional organisational skills;
7. Mature and professional approach, and commercial mindset;
8. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines;
9. Self-confidence and initiative.
