General Manager – Food & Beverage (Full‐time, Melbourne)
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded leader to drive the strategic direction, operational performance and guest experience of our Food & Beverage portfolio across Village Cinemas.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the enterprise‐wide Food & Beverage strategy across Australia's longest‐running, locally owned cinema chain.
* Analyse market trends and emerging consumer behaviours to identify strategic opportunities across all concepts.
* Lead the development of the long‐term strategic direction for the F&B department, ensuring alignment with the broader strategy.
* Oversee operational CAPEX related to F&B equipment procurement and ensure investment decisions align with strategic and financial priorities.
* Ensure customer experience remains central to the development of all F&B products, services and initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
* Deep understanding of Food & Beverage operations.
* Strong commercial and financial literacy.
* Extensive senior leadership experience within Food & Beverage, hospitality, entertainment, retail or a related multi‐site operational environment.
* Experience leading large, diverse teams and building organisational capability through coaching, development and succession planning.
* Successful history of managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and driving commercial outcomes.
* Experience overseeing product development, category management and operational execution across multiple locations.
* Demonstrated success in leading major business projects, change initiatives or transformation programs.
