Reliability Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team.
* The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for developing short-term engineering solutions for rotating and fixed equipment to improve life cycle and equipment reliability.
* They will implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Reliability Performance Indicators, leading Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and other Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) efforts.
* The Reliability Engineer will lead reliability programs and work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to prioritize and schedule work.
* They will support the implementation of reliability efforts, mechanical integrity, PSM, and Safety Audit Action Items.
* Our ideal candidate will champion the Preventive and predictive (PM/PdM) Maintenance of plant equipment.
Requirements:
* A BS degree in an engineering major is required.
* At least 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in the chemical industry is necessary.
* The candidate should have a working knowledge of equipment design, function, regulatory requirements, and PSM – Mechanical Integrity.
* Familiarity with welding principles and failure analysis training FMEA or RCFA is essential.
* Skilled in handling fixed equipment (piping, pressure vessels, storage tanks, etc.) or rotating equipment (centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, vacuum pumps, gearboxes, seals, fans, blowers, vibration analysis).
* The candidate must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. TN1 visa candidates will be considered.
This is an associate-level, full-time position within the Engineering and Manufacturing department, focused on Chemical Manufacturing and Oil and Gas industries.
