We are looking for amazing FS8 instructors on a casual basis with the potential to go part time for our FS8 studio in Cottesloe, which is opening in October. We are seeking a positive and compassionate fitness professional, who is keen to engage with the wider community. Perfect for a past dancer or a personal trainer with an interest in Pilates, Barre & gymnastics.
FS8 combines Pilates (mat & reformer), low impact functional movements and yoga, into one never been done before fitness concept If you have a passion for fitness and are qualified in either Reformer, Mat pilates, Cert 3 or 4 in Fitness and/or yoga then this role is for you
Each day brings a different workout, some of which incorporate whole-body movements that flow to elevate the heart rate and provide general fitness conditioning. Others will target specific body parts to increase strength and endurance of upper, lower and core muscles, and some aim to restore equilibrium within the body and mind for health and wellbeing.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct and instruct motivational group classes including components of pilates (Reformer & Mat) yoga & low impact functional tone
- Adhering to processes and teaching standards set by the Manager
- Ensuring the class delivery is at a consistent 10/10 standard, promoting an energetic & welcoming environment for member
- Build strong rapport with clients and provide excellent customer service at all times
- Help with maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of the studio
- Assist in new Clients signing up to a membership and ensuring member retention strategies are followed
- Where required assisting in capturing class content / testimonials for use on Social Media
**Skills**:
- At least one of these qualifications is required - Reformer / Mat Pilates, Cert 3 or 4, 200hr yoga certified
- Preferred - Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates certified
- Up to date First Aid & CPR Certified
- Have the ability to break down exercises and offer progressions & regressions
- Passion for teaching and educating beginners on their fitness journey
- Keen to become a pivotal member of a Studio community
- Is a supportive and pro-active team member
- Has a proactive attitude
