Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations, maintaining equipment, and providing excellent patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Identify patients and verify physician orders to ensure accurate follow-up.
* Gather information from patient interviews and evaluate relevant data to inform diagnosis.
* Analyze test results and identify variations to take appropriate action.
* Provide patient education and involve family members or caregivers as needed.
* Prioritize tasks based on patient needs and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
* Perform order entry, access exam lists, and ensure safe test processing.
* Maintain radiographic files, logs, and compliance records.
* Conduct equipment checks and report concerns to the manager.
* Operate diagnostic equipment to produce high-quality images.
Requirements
* Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program with an A.S. in Radiology Technology or equivalent.
* Previous experience in radiography or equivalent experience as determined by the department manager.
* Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) Radiology License.
* Quality-focused individual with excellent interpersonal skills, flexible, dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
* CPR certification required.
