About the Role
This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, quality, and time requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning, organising, directing and coordinating construction projects from commencement to completion.
* Interpreting project documentation, specifications, contracts and technical drawings to ensure accurate project delivery.
* Developing project schedules, resource plans, procurement timelines and work programs.
* Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and site personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
* Monitoring project progress, budgets, material usage and labour allocation to maintain project profitability and timelines.
* Managing procurement of materials, equipment and subcontracted services in accordance with project requirements.
* Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, certifiers and other stakeholders regarding project progress and delivery matters.
* Ensuring all construction activities comply with relevant building codes, WHS requirements, quality standards and contractual obligations.
* Identifying and resolving construction issues, delays, design discrepancies and operational risks in a timely manner.
* Conducting site inspections and project reviews to ensure construction quality and compliance with specifications.
* Preparing project reports, progress updates, cost tracking documentation and completion records.
Skills & Experience
* Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering or a related field.
* At least 5 years of relevant project management experience
* Demonstrated experience managing commercial and/or residential construction projects.
* Strong understanding of construction methodology, project scheduling, budgeting and contract administration.
* Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple project priorities in a fast-paced environment.
