Market Access Associate Director
We are seeking an experienced Market Access Associate Director to ensure the appropriate access and reimbursement of our innovative therapies through education and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
* This role will play a key part in developing and achieving targeted plans of action, managing objectives and priorities across multiple therapeutic areas, and collaborating closely with field payer teams on coverage policy developments and coding education.
* The successful candidate will establish strong relationships with key institution/hospital personnel, including C-Suite, Operations, Revenue Cycle Management, Finance, Managed Care, and other stakeholders responsible for access, coding, billing, reimbursement, and overall financial clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide reimbursement-related support and education to secure access for new procedures and therapies.
* Coordinate comprehensive reimbursement pull-through by proactively engaging with institution/hospital personnel to educate on managed care and government payer coverage policies, billing and coding requirements, Medicare and State Medicaid reimbursement methodologies, prior authorization and medical exception processes, claims submission and appeals processes, trade and distribution, and ensures adoption and implementation of newly issued codes.
* Track all local payer billing, coding, and claims submission requirements.
* Lead cross-functional challenge resolution processes, including interfacing with patient support as necessary.
* Requires frequent travel to attend internal meetings, conferences, and engage with stakeholders within assigned geography.
