Disability Skills Trainer - Maintenance Crew
We are looking for people with a 'can do' attitude who possess the ability to inspire and motivate individuals living with a disability to achieve greater independence by challenging them to grow and develop life & employment skills.
We are looking for enthusiastic people who enjoy various indoor & outdoor work and a role that offers something new every day with a desire to support people living with a disability to develop & grow to their full potential and work skills.
This includes completing a range of Commercial Cleaning, Horticulture, Amenities Services and Park Maintenance contracts across the Peel and Metro area.
Responsibilities
Supervising and leading a crew of up to 3 supported employees.
Providing on the job support and training for supported employees to meet their individual needs and goals.
Completing contracts and providing both participant and commercial customer satisfaction.

About You
Passionate about improving the lives of people living with a disability
Extensive experience in the delivery of person-centric services
Experience in maintaining a consistently high standard of customer service
Energetic and driven
Compassionate, supportive and motivated.
Possess some experience in Administration, Horticulture and/or Cleaning
Must complete 'hands on' tasks as this role is not only a 'supervisory' role. Intelife staff all get in and get their hands dirty, With a lead by example style of training.
Enjoy working with and supporting employees with a disability from a range of social, financial and cultural backgrounds.
Possess the capacity to meet the inherent physical requirements of the position.
Strict adherence to OSH requirement of each job including ensuring your team are trained in those standards.
You must hold a current driver's license, rights to work in Australia, national police check and relevant State/Territory working with children check and NDIS check or be willing to obtain.
We are happy to help and support you to obtain your Senior First Aid & national police clearance.
Applicants with strong labour and gardening back grounds within the sector are preferred but not essential.
