Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to identify and actively prospect new major national fleet customers. Your key responsibility will be to grow the Commercial Vehicle fleet business in Australia.
Key objectives include:
* Identify and pursue opportunities with national fleet businesses in the commercial space
* Develop and manage relationships with existing Strategic Fleet customers
* Represent the brand to key user groups, including Fleet Management Organisations (FMOs), Government departments, national associations, rental company corporate head offices
Responsibilities will include:
1. Prospecting and developing new business opportunities with national fleet clients
2. Managing and growing our business with existing Strategic Fleet customers
3. Maintaining a database of fleet customers, prospects, and sales to help steer the business and target new customers
4. Working closely with the RSM to generate new business opportunities and support the Iveco dealer network
5. Providing product presentations, pricing proposals, tender submissions, regular Government pricing updates, etc.
6. Communicating with customers regarding fleet sales programs, service contracts, finance contracts, and residual values
7. Delivering customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding expectations, delivering on promises, and maintaining quality long term relationships with key customers and user groups
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education/Qualifications:
* Tertiary business qualifications with marketing and business management emphasis is desirable
Essential experience and skills:
* Experience in the Commercial Vehicle industry is essential
* Experience in Heavy Commercial Vehicles is strongly desired
* Strong interpersonal, motivation, and negotiating skills
* Strong administrative, planning, and organisational skills
* Professional bearing and presentation
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills
