About the RoleAs a Junior Spot Trader, you'll support real-time market operations and performance optimisation across ACCIONA's renewable energy portfolio.
You'll work closely with teams in Australia and Spain, gaining hands-on experience in the National Electricity Market (NEM), bidding strategies, and market analysis.Assist with daily spot market activities and market desk coverageMonitor market conditions and report insights to senior managementCollaborate with operations, control room, and site teamsParticipate in a rotating roster (including weekends and diverse shifts)Ensure compliance with market rules and protocolsAbout YouExposure to the National Electricity Market particularly in wholesale markets or tangentially related fields (e.g. risk, settlements etc.).
