Overview
Henley High School is a large secondary school located in Henley Beach, in Adelaide's western suburbs. With approximately 1300 students and 150 staff, we offer an extensive curriculum and are recognised as a Specialist Sports School, offering 10 different sports to elite athletes. Henley High School prides itself on high academic standards and excellent Year 12 results. What you will do
This permanent position involves teaching Technology Studies up to and including Year 12 and Digital Technology. As a member of a large, supportive team, you will work to develop and implement high-quality pedagogical skills and knowledge. You will contribute to the ongoing focus on enhancing teaching strategies, student engagement, and academic success.
Application requirements
1. How do you integrate innovative pedagogies into the Design and Technologies curriculum to enhance student engagement and outcomes?
2. How do you work collaboratively with other teachers and foster positive relationships with colleagues to achieve successful outcomes for students in a team environment?
3. Provide an example of innovative and integrated task design in a Digital Technologies specialisation that engage students and improve learning outcomes, aligned with ACARA Version 9.
