The Role
Responsible for regional enterprise sales account development within an established geographic territory for a complex suite of services and robust product sets. Drive sales, increase brand awareness, and grow a specific territory.
Location
Work from home; must live in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Utah.
The Main Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
- Develop regional enterprise sales in the designated target market(s) by identifying recent sales opportunities with prospective enterprise customers through cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments.
- Build effective relationships internally through cross‑functional collaboration with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Solutions/Technology experts, Sales Support, Service Delivery.
- Identify, bid on, negotiate, and close new sales opportunities to meet and exceed established sales and revenue quotas. Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from existing accounts.
- Provide input to sales management about trends and changes within the customer’s organization and recommend future actions to improve our position with the customer.
- Leverage strategic client relationships and external presence to achieve Lumen’s strategic imperatives.
- Leverage your external network to identify and recruit high performing talent, and build internal relationships with leaders to provide opportunities to Lumen employees.
What We Look For In a Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
- 5–7+ years of solution‑based sales experience in enterprise technology services using a consultative, complex business‑line sales process.
- Strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills, with proven ability to sell to the close.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong business acumen and expert knowledge of Lumen’s products, services, and solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary by location and individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Location‑Based Pay Ranges:
• $64,502 – $85,995 in ID, MT, UT
• $67,725 – $90,300 in OR
