About The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Team Leader is now available at Lynbrook Park Residential Aged Care home. This role reports to the Regional Asset Manager and will ensure the condition and appearance of our homes are of the highest standard to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
* Hands-on repairs and maintenance
* Management and co-ordination of maintenance of the building and its environment
* High level of customer service to residents
* Maintenance of records and reports
* Budget management
* Provide leadership, supervision and co-ordinate site maintenance staff
* Comply with current legislative standards around maintenance, aged care workplace health & safety and manual handling
This will be a 12-Month contract working full time Monday to Friday between 7am - 4pm.
What do we need from you?
* Knowledge of maintenance procedure and commercial and domestic construction practice
* Experience in Contractor Management
* Knowledge of relevant legislation requirements, codes & standards
* Understanding and empathy towards aged persons and their living requirements
* Ability to work an on call roster
* Relevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experience
* Valid working rights and open driver’s licence
* Current national police check (or willing to obtain)
* Flu Vaccination (or willing to obtain)
* Evidence of one Covid-19 vaccinations
* A pre-employment medical assessment may be required for this role
