Mechanic – Grafton Depot
Pay: $37.08 – $40.95 per hour, $105,000 – $115,000+ annual earning potential including reasonable overtime loading and generous allowances. Includes super.

Core Responsibilities
* Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair and assemble the fleet, ensuring safety, quality and Busways standards are met at all times.
* Maintain all company vehicles and assets in accordance with Manufacturer's guidelines.
* Perform all maintenance work according to company procedures.
* Attend breakdowns and carry out field related mechanical repairs.
* Effectively communicate safety or maintenance issues.
* Adhere to all Work, Health & Safety requirements while performing duties.
* Maintain clean workshop practices.
* Report and repair all accident damage as required.
* Perform ad‐hoc tasks and other duties as directed.
Essential Qualifications
* Relevant trade qualifications – MVTC (essential).
* Certificate III in commercial vehicle mechanical technology or higher (or Certificate III in light vehicle mechanical technology with 4‐5 years of post‐apprenticeship experience in a similar role).
* Experience in service and maintenance of vehicles.
* Knowledge of WHS regulations and company policies.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience working in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules.
* Proactive approach with a drive for continuous improvement.
* Physical fitness to carry out the necessities of the role.
* Willingness to undergo a pre‐employment medical check and children's check.
* Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
* Current Unrestricted Australian driver's licence issued by the relevant State.
Highly Regarded but Not Necessary
* Medium Rigid (MR) or above Australian driver's licence.
* Heavy vehicle diesel mechanic experience (training provided).
