Job Description:
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for managing logistics, tracking inventory and ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials from suppliers through to production and customers.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Accurately forecast inventory needs based on demands, raise Purchase orders and coordinate with WH staff for accurate receiving. (in conjunction with HOD Supply Chain).
* Implement and maintain inventory management practices to optimize stock levels and reduce holding costs.
* Oversee the entire logistics and dispatch process, from sourcing goods to final delivery, closing work orders, creating shipping manifest to ensure timely and efficient operations.
* Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to meet production and delivery schedules, negotiating contracts to secure advantageous terms.
* Work closely with sales, production, and engineering teams to forecast demand and ensure product availability without overstocking.
* Ensure compliance with international and local regulations governing supply chain operations, including customs regulations and environmental standards.
* Utilize supply chain management software to analyze operations, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements for efficiency gains, further reporting on inventory levels and turnover rates.
* Work closely with engineering team and to create and maintain part numbers, BOMs, version changes and supersessions.
About You
The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that products and materials are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively, supporting the overall goals of the organization.
Your skills will include:
* A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is often preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess supply chain performance and implement improvements.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools, as well as proficiency in data analysis.

* Manufacturing, logistics, transport or similar industries background.
