Job Overview
This role is pivotal in supporting the finance function of a busy and well-established organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Payroll & Employee Records
o Reconcile leave records fortnightly and update timesheets ahead of payroll processing.
o Prepare and submit monthly and annual payroll tax returns.
o Assist with Workcover reporting and audit requirements.
* Accounts & Financial Management
o Complete BAS and IAS lodgments.
o Daily bank reconciliations.
* Accounts Payable & Receivable
o Review and input supplier invoices.
o Prepare for monthly creditor payment runs and resolve discrepancies.
o Process credit card reconciliations.
o Process credit card payments as required.
* Reporting & Month-End Processes
o Assist with end-of-month processes and generate reports as required.
o Generate reports monthly based on requirements.
About You:
* Bookkeeping experience, ideally in a professional services or legal/accounting environment.
* Proficiency in MYOB.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
