Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.
We are seeking a motivated and organised Administration Officer to join our friendly team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of administrative functions across the hospital. You will provide support to clinical and non‑clinical departments, contribute to high‑quality service delivery, and assist in maintaining accurate records and communication across the hospital. This role will see you support reporting, data entry, and document management processes and liaise effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

What You Will Bring To The Role
* The ability to work constructively, cooperatively and efficiently with both internal and external client
* A high level of keyboard, PC, Database and general clerical skills, attention to detail
* Demonstrated high level of organisational skills, with ability to meet tight timeframes and prioritise workload
* Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, nights, public holidays and weekends
* Well developed written and verbal communication skills with experience working in a networked PC environment
* Previous experience in similar Hospital or Health facility‑based position
* Switchboard and reception experience for a large organisation
* Demonstrated ability in the use of tact, diplomacy, confidentiality and discretion
