**THE WHO, THE WHAT AND THE WHERE**
Our client is an industry association with over 800 members located around Australia, with the newly refurbished (very oo lala) office based in Osborne Park, plus free parking. They host a national conference twice a year and regular networking meetings across the country, plus a twice monthly magazine production, training courses, advocacy in political issues and produce industry working guides and standards.
We are on the hunt for admin/events hybrid to manage the day-to-day operations and take the lead on organising and delivering standout events.
**LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION**
Reporting to the CEO, your role will be the first point of contact for all enquiries and to take the lead on organising all the events. Here's a snapshot of what's involved:
- Dollar, dollar bills, you'll be looking after the accounts payable and receivables
- Nurturing current and new member/client relationships
- Booking event locations, entertainment, AV and catering requirements and associated marketing and promotional activities
- Provide oversight and management of the licensing system
- Manage the daily workload of the Administration Assistant who will be reporting to you
- Occasionally you may need to travel across Australia to attend and support the events
**DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?**
Needless to say, you'll have to have some pretty schmick organisation skills and know how to channel your inner Mary Poppins to pull out some magic. Here's what else will excite us:
- Minimum 5 to 10 years working in administration
- Some experience in arranging and managing events is a big plus
- A relevant tertiary education would be a second big plus
- Strong MS programs, and either Xero or MYOB
- Experience in a member-based CRM would be your third plus
- Juggling 36 balls in the air is your speciality
- You have the ability to change lanes quickly and prioritise
- You're a natural problem solver
- Calm under pressure
