The Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at our Kilmore manufacturing facility.
This role is responsible for leading the site maintenance team and ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of plant and equipment across the site. The position plays a key role in supporting production through effective maintenance planning, fault resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working closely with site leadership and production teams, you will help drive equipment reliability, manage maintenance activities and contribute to the development of maintenance strategies and site improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the site maintenance team
* Ensure safe systems of work are followed across all maintenance activities
* Coordinate planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance
* Support production teams to maximise equipment reliability and availability
* Contribute to development and implementation of site maintenance strategies
* Manage maintenance priorities between planned work and operational issues
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance operations
* Assist with maintenance budgeting and management of maintenance spend
* Engage and manage third-party contractors and service providers
* Ensure spare parts, materials and consumables are available as required
* Maintain maintenance workshop and spare parts storage areas
* Managing maintenance requirements to minimise production downtime.
Required Skills & Experience
* Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical discipline
* Previous experience in maintenance leadership or supervisory role
* Strong understanding of maintenance management systems and tools
* Experience using CMMS systems such as MEX or similar
* Intermediate knowledge and application of Microsoft word and excel.
* Strong troubleshooting and reliability improvement skills
* Experience working within manufacturing or heavy industrial environments
* Strong leadership and team management capabilities
* Good working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
Desirable
* Post-trade qualifications
* Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
* Project management exposure
* Forklift, EWP or confined space tickets
