**Experienced Dental Assistant / Receptionist Position**

We offer a wide range of services including routine dentistry, advanced cosmetic treatments, restorative procedures, Toothfairy for children, wisdom teeth removal, and implants including all-on-6. **Role Responsibilities**:
As a Dental Assistant at TFI Connect Dentistry, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your responsibilities will include chairside assisting, managing the dentist/OHT day, maintaining high levels of infection control, instrument processing and sterilization, attention to detail, accuracy, and all aspects of front desk reception administration.

**Team Collaboration**:
Our dental assistants collaborate closely with all members of the dental team, including dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff. Direct communication channels are encouraged, and any issues or concerns can be addressed with the practice manager.
**Patient Interaction**:
Dental assistants may interact with patients before, during, and after procedures, depending on the provider they are working with. Excellent patient care and maintaining a comfortable environment are paramount, requiring attributes such as multitasking ability, time management, strong initiative, and excellent communication skills.
**Infection Control and Safety**:
Our practice adheres to stringent infection control protocols and is QIP accredited. Dental assistants contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment through adherence to established procedures and checklists.
**Equipment and Technology**:
Proficiency in using various dental equipment and technology is required, including autoclaves, CBCT & OPG units, intraoral scanners, and radiography software such as Romexis & Sidexus.
**Continuing Education and Training**:
We support the professional development of our dental assistants through in-house mentoring, training sessions, and certification courses. Opportunities for advanced training may be available within the practice.
**Performance Evaluation**:
Performance evaluations are conducted annually based on individual performance and teamwork.

**Hours and Remuneration**:
This is a casual role requiring approximately 4-5 days per week (Monday - Friday). Remuneration for the role is $34.00 per hour.
