We are seeking a experienced and dedicated Casual Support Workers to provide supports under the Enhanced Living Options (ELO) program. This role involves supporting participants with complex needs to live safely and independently in their own home, often with 24/7 support and active overnight shifts.
You will play a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality, person-centred support that promotes stability, independence, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Living Support
* Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
* Assist with meal preparation, cleaning, and household routines
* Support medication administration (if trained)
Enhanced Living Support
* Provide active overnight and/or extended hour supports
* Follow Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP)
* Support participants with psychosocial, behavioural, or complex support needs
* Maintain structured routines and a safe environment
Community Access
* Support participants to attend appointments
* Assist with community and social participation
* Encourage skill development and independence
Documentation and Reporting
* Complete accurate progress notes and incident reports
* Follow care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies
* Communicate effectively with the care team
Essential Requirements
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health, or equivalent
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
* DHS Working With Children Check
* Current First Aid & CPR
* Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
* Availability for passive and active overnight shifts
* Strong emotional resilience and reliability
Highly Desirable
* Experience in Enhanced Living Options or SIL
* Experience supporting psychosocial disability or complex behaviours
* Medication Administration training
* Manual Handling and CPI/MAPA training
