Position Title: Junior Retail Assistant (Student Positions - Ages 13+)
Location: Pacific Fair Store, Gold Coast, QLD
Employment Type: Casual/Part-Time | After School (2-6pm or 4-6pm) & Weekends

The Opportunity: We're looking for 2 reliable and enthusiastic students (ages 13+) to join our Pacific Fair team. This is a fantastic first job opportunity where you'll learn valuable workplace skills in a supervised, professional environment. We understand school comes first and offer flexible shifts that work around your commitments.
What You'll Do:
* Keep our shop clean and tidy (sweeping, wiping surfaces, organizing displays)
* Assist customers with a friendly greeting and basic questions
* Help prepare and package products with care and attention to detail
* Restock supplies and maintain presentation standards
* Learn about food safety and professional customer service
* Work alongside experienced team members who will train and support you
Your Schedule Options:
Weekday After-School Shifts:
* Option 1: 4:00pm - 6:00pm (perfect for younger students)
* Option 2: 2:00pm - 6:00pm (for students with early finish or study periods)
Weekend Shifts:
* Saturday and/or Sunday (morning or afternoon shifts available)
* Shift lengths vary by age: 3-6 hours
Minimum Commitment:
* 2 shifts per week (must include at least one weekend day)
* Flexible roster planned 2 weeks in advance around your school schedule
* Extra hours available during school holidays if you want them
Who We're Looking For:
* Students aged 13-17 currently enrolled in school
* Reliable and punctual - we count on you to show up when rostered
* Willing to learn and take direction
* Friendly and polite with customers
* Not afraid of cleaning or physical tasks
* Able to work as part of a team
* Parent/guardian support and consent (required for under 15s)

Requirements:
* Must be at least 13 years old
* Legally able to work in Australia
* Parent/guardian written consent (for under 15s)
* Reliable transport to/from work (parent drop-off or public transport)
* Willingness to complete Food Safety training (we arrange and cover cost)
