The participant moving into the home has complex mental health needs and requires a team of experienced and reliable staff. Please note, due to the participant's complex background, only Female support workers are required for this position. This is recognised as a genuine discrimination exemption and occupation qualification, and is authorised under (Part 3; Division 2 - Discrimination against workers; Section 34 – Exemptions (2) of the SOUTH AUSTRALIA Equal Opportunity Act 1984). This will be a rewarding role with great hours and flexibility across a 24/7 roster. About You To set the benchmark standard of services, we seek like-minded support workers that uphold and represent our core values: Integrity, Empathy, Creative, Inspire, Mindfulness & Bold. In addition to our values, our support staff require Mandatory Experience and Compliance: 1 years' experience as a Support Worker. Relevant tertiary qualification in Disability, Aged Care, and/or Nursing. Experience in Mental Health and Behaviour of Concerns. NDIS Worker Screening Check. Current First Aid & CPR Certificate. Medication Training Certificate (or willing to obtain). Manual Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain). Drivers Licence and Comprehensively Insured Vehicle.
