As a Hospitality Cook you will
* Handle daily food preparation undertake duties assigned by the Head Chef and contribute to daily kitchen cleaning and maintenance.
* Assist in all aspects of planning preparing and cooking food items with the highest level of quality standards.
* Ensure adherence to all health and food safety compliance and regulations.
* Assist in the basic maintenance of equipment and undertake regular upkeep of area to ensure that operational equipment is available and working.
To be successful youll have
* Completion of a Trades Certificate or completion of year 12 with relevant work experience; or
* Equivalent relevant experience or combination of relevant experience and education / training.
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
* Current Certificate in food handling.
Special Requirements
* This position requires the incumbent to work outside business hours.
* This position is a flexible ordinary hours span position which offers additional loadings to salary as per clause 43.3 of Deakins Enterprise Agreement.
* This position requires the incumbent to hold a current Working with Children Check.
