Baptcare is seeking a compassionate Chef to support our residents through nutritious, thoughtfully prepared meals that honor individual needs and preferences.

Casual role with shifts across AM and PM (weekdays preferred).
Key responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver high‐quality meals, including therapeutic diets and special dietary requirements, aligned with resident needs and preferences
* Follow set menus and recipes to ensure timely, consistent and well‐presented food service
* Support the Head Chef with daily food safety compliance, stock control and kitchen standards
* Maintain exceptional food handling and hygiene practices across all dining and service areas
* Assist with meal delivery, café operations, and the planning and execution of functions and events within the residence
About you
* Mandatory Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (HLTFSE001, HLTFSE005, HLTFSE007)
* Relevant Industry Training – Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate.
* Commercial Cookery Certificate III / IV is required.
* Previous experience and working knowledge of menu planning, ordering, and special diet preparation.
* Previous experience working in catering within a residential aged care facility.
Compliance/Checks required
* National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Relevant worker screening/clearance as required (e.g., NDIS Worker Screening Check/WWCC where applicable).
* Proof of working rights in Australia.
