This pivotal role involves delivering high-quality services to complex participants, promoting independence through a Person-Centred and culturally sensitive approach.The role is supported by an Operations Manager and a Disability Practice Lead, who provide leadership and expertise to ensure effective service delivery.Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership: Oversee the unit's operations, focusing on risk and compliance.Expert Guidance: Provide disability expertise and leadership across the organization.Team Management: Lead and develop team performance to achieve positive outcomes.Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships to support participants and grow the business.Therapeutic Models: Develop and implement evidence-based support models.Financial Management: Ensure financial sustainability.Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic and operational planning.Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.Succession Planning: Develop leadership succession plans.Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as required.About You:You have extensive experience working with individuals with forensic or complex mental health needs. You excel in leading teams, managing budgets within NDIS funding, and understanding the NDIS regulatory environment, especially regarding reportable incidents and restrictive practices.You are passionate about contemporary support approaches for high-risk behaviours and have experience developing models that improve quality of life for NDIS participants.You possess strong stakeholder relationship skills and are experienced in developing and reviewing complex support models.
