About the opportunity
The Interior Design Assistant works closely with the Interior Design team to provide them with support across administration, coordination, customer service and adhoc assistance.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation for appointments including collating relevant documents, forms, flat lays and samples.
- Welcome clients into the studio, assisting with ordering, collecting and delivering food and beverages during the client's appointment.
- All‑rounder duties include overseeing inventory levels, ordering and restocking items and general studio upkeep.
- Other administrative duties may include updating product information, updating variation, electrical appointment set ups etc.
- Assist with hosting Customer Information Evenings, VIP nights & Expo Days.
Qualifications
- Currently studying or completed a Diploma of Interior Decoration and Design or similar.
- A willingness to develop a strong understanding of design aesthetic and conceptual skills.
- Commitment to providing excellence in customer service and strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong record keeping, planning and organising.
- Desire to build a long terms career in Interior Design.
- A commitment to working as one team.
- Ability to work 3-5 days per week – including every second Saturday.
