Role Overview
This role plays a vital part in supporting students who require additional academic help to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
* We work closely with classroom teachers to create tailored educational programs that meet the individual needs of our students.
* Direct support is provided to students on an individual or small group basis, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* We assist in developing and implementing instructional programs, which aims to engage and motivate our students.
* Effective communication is essential when working with students, teachers, and parents to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
* The effectiveness of our programs is continually monitored and evaluated, contributing to ongoing professional growth and improvement.
Essential Criteria
* Demonstrating genuine interest in supporting young people while upholding values of pride, respect, and responsibility.
* High-level communication skills, emotional intelligence, and literacy/numeracy proficiency up to VCE standard are crucial.
* Knowledge of DE policies and guidelines, particularly inclusion, and commitment to their implementation.
* Previous experience in education support or completion of Certificate IV in Education Support (or similar) is highly regarded.

As part of this dynamic team, you will be committed to providing high-quality support to our students. You will work closely with Learning Inclusion Coordinators and Assistant Principals to ensure the successful implementation of programs and strategies.
