ACCOUNTANT - INDUSTRIAL & TRADES ENVIRONMENT

About the Role
This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a practical, no‐nonsense workplace. You'll take ownership of financial operations while providing clear, commercially minded advice to support daily business activities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
* Month‐end reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis
* Budgeting, costing, and margin/stock analysis
* Maintaining accurate financial records and process compliance
* Working closely with warehouse, sales, and operational teams
* Supporting leadership with commercial insights and decision‐making
What We're Looking For
* Confident and comfortable working in a busy, trade‐oriented environment
* Practical, steady under pressure, and solutions‐focused
* Able to communicate effectively with hands‐on teams and suppliers
* Detail‐driven with strong analytical skills
* Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
* Experienced with MYOB or similar accounting software
Experience in hardware, industrial supply, trade services, manufacturing, or similar environments will be highly regarded.
