Position Summary:
Full-time management role within a regional tourism and hospitality business. The position combines financial oversight, staff management, procurement responsibilities, and operational participation in guided tours. The successful applicant will report directly to business owners and will be accountable for daily operational performance.
Relocation to Coffin Bay, South Australia is required if not currently residing in the area.
Duties Include:
Oversee daily tourism and hospitality operations
Manage end-to-end tour coordination and operational logistics
Recruit, supervise, and manage staff performance
Prepare rosters and coordinate payroll processing
Oversee invoicing, financial reconciliation, and cash management
Manage procurement, supplier negotiations, and inventory control
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements
Provide operational reporting and performance updates to business owners
Participate in guided tours and operational delivery as required
Role involves regular outdoor work and physical activity.
The position requires working in varying weather conditions.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ full-time experience in a Tourism Manager or Hospitality Management role
Demonstrated responsibility for staff supervision, operational oversight, and financial administration
Proven experience managing payroll coordination, invoicing, and reconciliation processes
Experience operating within small to medium-sized businesses where managerial and operational duties are combined
Capacity to independently manage daily operations with limited supervision
Ability to work in a regional and remote environment with limited infrastructure
Willingness to perform both administrative and physically demanding operational duties
Availability for weekend and peak seasonal work as required
