Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, stock replenishment, and maintenance of store standards.
* Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff to ensure they meet performance standards and provide excellent customer service. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and staff development.
* Act as the face of the store, ensuring all customer interactions are handled with professionalism and care. Resolve customer complaints effectively to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Drive sales through effective merchandising strategies, promotional activities, and by staying updated with market trends. Implement and monitor sales goals.
* Manage store budget, control costs, and work towards achieving financial targets. Handle cash management, banking, and daily sales reporting.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, legal, and company regulations. Maintain pharmacy standards if applicable, including managing pharmacist schedules and ensuring prescription services run smoothly.
