Busy and highly respected builder are looking for a confident and experienced Contracts Administrator to join the team working on a $90 mil centrally located government project.
The company who are well established and recognised in the Tier 2 commercial industry and are looking for an experienced intermediate CA to join the business.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost forecasts, monitor financial status, and prepare cash flow statements
- Provide input for financial reports to the Management Team
- Ensure site supervisory staff are aware of the project's scope of works and inclusions in tender packages
- Preparation of tender documentation required for the procurement of sub-contractors including tender and pricing schedules, scope of works, comparative tender analysis and recommendations.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants
- Liaise with client regarding progress claims to Head Contract
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar
- Experience working on commercial projects
- Solid local experience working as a Contracts Administrator
- Previous proven experience completing multiple projects start to finish
- Understanding of Australian commercial and legal issues pertaining to head contracts
- A working knowledge of major building trades
- Attitude is a must - They are a close knit business and do not want egos.
- Have at least two years out of uni
- Must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for this role
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
