Infrastructure People is partnering with an emerging Australian agritech startup developing a groundbreaking range of organic agricultural stockfeed and fertiliser products designed to significantly improve livestock performance, crop yield and product quality.
With products currently progressing through regulatory approvals and commercialisation, this is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial and commercially astute agribusiness leader to build and lead the go-to-market strategy from the ground up.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will take ownership of developing the entire commercial function — including sales strategy, distribution networks, partnerships, market positioning and customer engagement — ahead of full market launch.
This role will suit someone who thrives in startup environments, enjoys building businesses from inception and has the industry credibility and networks to drive long‑term growth across Australian agricultural sectors including cattle, sugar cane, horticulture and cropping.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the national commercial and go-to-market strategy.
* Build sales pipelines, distribution channels and strategic partnerships.
* Establish market positioning, pricing and product launch strategies.
* Build relationships with farmers, distributors, agribusinesses and industry stakeholders.
* Lead brand awareness, industry engagement and promotional initiatives.
* Provide agronomic and commercial support to prospective customers.
* Deliver market intelligence, competitor analysis and commercial forecasting.
* Establish KPIs, reporting frameworks and scalable sales processes.
About You
* Significant experience within agribusiness, agriculture, livestock, horticulture or cropping sectors.
* Proven success in business development, commercial growth and market expansion.
* Strong industry relationships and established networks across Australian agriculture.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building or scaling emerging businesses preferred.
* Excellent strategic planning, negotiation and communication skills.
* Relevant qualifications in Agriculture, Agribusiness or Business.
