About the role: We have a rare opportunity for a Repairs Manager to join our close-knit and high-performing Canberra team. Reporting directly to the ACT Service Operations Manager, you will have approximately 6 direct reports and P&L responsibilities. The role involves both office-based work and field visits with technicians, direct reports, and customer meetings. You will also conduct monthly toolbox meetings and be responsible for driving consistent financial performance. Additionally, you will support our sales team with scoping and pricing repair works.
As our Service Manager, you play a crucial role as the first point of contact for our customers, delivering responsive and high-quality services and solutions. You will also provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to your team of Service Technicians, fostering open communication and a safety-focused culture.

What we are looking for: Previous leadership experience, preferably within the lift industry, with a strong understanding of repair works. Experience as a Maintenance/ Repairs/ Service Manager in the Lift industry or related fields like Fire, HVAC, Security, or similar industries. Strong organizational skills to plan, manage resources, and execute actions. Ability to provide direction and take responsibility for team decisions and actions. Excellent communication skills to build rapport, influence others, and maintain relationships. Proven ability to handle multiple and competing priorities. Ability to build and develop a strong safety culture.
