About the Role
1. The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Researcher Development) will lead and deliver strategic initiatives that support researchers across their careers, from postgraduate students through to senior academics.
2. The role requires close collaboration with central portfolios and faculties to ensure attraction and retention strategies that support career progression.
3. The PVC will work with external stakeholders, including industry and government, in a global context contributing to international development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Strategically leading researcher talent development initiatives,
• Designing programmes that enable researchers to build skills, experience and career pathways,
• Providing oversight of admission and research standards ensuring quality alignment with University goals.
