**Job Description**:
We have a unique opportunity to join us as RTO Manager at The ACE Training Centre in Bankstown, Sydney. If you can you see yourself managing the training standard requirements of our staff and RTO in Sydney, whilst ensuring the highest compliance levels against the various ASQA & CASA standards, then this role is for you.
The RTO Manager role plays an integral part in ensuring the delivery, facilitation, and assessment of a professional and efficient training operational and aviation workforce.
Working closely with the General Manager of The ACE Training Centre, Training Manager for Uncrewed Systems and the RTO CEO, this position requires a vast and thorough understanding of the VET sector, CASA and ASQA compliance requirements whilst demanding impeccable attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a desire to be part of a high performing team with a vision for growth.
- Manage, implement, update, and maintain policies and processes on behalf on the ACE GM and Training Manager for Uncrewed Systems to ensure RTO compliance against ASQA and CASA whilst ensuring the RTO maintains a high standard of training delivery and assessment against the standards.
- Ensure compliance reporting with and the management of RTO related activities within the Australian _Vocational Education and Training Management Information Statistical Standard_ (AVETMISS) Student Management System (SMS), Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Federal, State and School based reporting systems.
- Conduct thorough and detailed validations, reports and audits of necessary VET, ASQA and CASA training documentation for the continuance training compliance and accreditation of the Training Centre, as it relates to the VET, ASQA & CASA requirements.
- Review and audit ACE-TC & RTO Trainers and Assessors on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance is maintained against various regulators.
- Actively maintain, arrange, support and document Industry Engagement via an established forum for key stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed and comprehensive written submissions in relation to VET training courses for consideration, whilst managing the development of training resources, Recognition of Prior Learning packages, apprenticeship and traineeship programs.
- Coordinate, pursue and maintain school-based VET programs, apprenticeships and traineeships.
- Manage the coordination of VET OJT programs and placements.
- Actively maintain assessment and instructor currency documentation which is aligned to VET, ASQA and CASA requirements.
- Manage and maintain compliance with document, content and version control for all RTO materials which may be stored on computer servers, LMS, SharePoint, Intranet and paper-based resources.
- Management of staff and instructor VET Professional Development requirements against the ASQA standards and organise opportunities for key stakeholders.
**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Learning Management, Adult Education, Training, (Highly Desirable)
- Diplomas or equivalent in Training & Assessment, Training Development or Design and Advanced Evaluation
- Extensive experience (7 years+) in managing and delivering accredited training programs and a proven management history within a registered training organisation
- Must hold a compliance against ASQA clauses 1.13 to 1.16.
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and standards for RTO, accredited qualifications, training & assessment ( Chapter 4) within ASQA and various CASA requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in ASQA & CASA auditing and processes.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- The ability to analyse data and develop and present reports based on student progress, completion, student satisfaction and RTO health.
- The ability to formally brief government executives and ministerial staff when required.
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
- Previous experience in the aviation industry would be an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a close team environment.
