Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

The position has direct responsibility for in-house trade staff, contract trade staff and maintenance service providers. You will ensure all aspects of SCHHS maintenance planning, work distribution and the successful completion of planned maintenance is undertaken within an acceptable timeframe and all statutory and legislative requirements relevant to Building, Engineering and Maintenance are met.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Prioritise, co-ordinate and supervise a system of planned preventative and corrective maintenance for all facilities providing timely and effective responses to the needs of asset users.
- Establish mechanisms to ensure that the SCHHS maintains compliance with all legislative instruments and Australian Standards and ensures records are maintained and reports submitted as mandated within the timeframes expected by the associated governing body(s).
- Manage the process of achieving all delegated accountabilities and responsibilities as referenced above by supporting a team of BEMS support staff focused on planned maintenance and compliance.
